An Overview
One of Perth’s oldest buildings (1877), The Old Brewery combines history with a relaxed, open and contemporary feel, mere meters from the Swan River’s edge. Think: regal and old worlde but fresh and modern; stylish and refined yet warm and inviting. The Old Brewery has hosted many a wedding and has become one of Perth’s most loved wedding venues.
Just minutes from Perth’s CBD, its modern, purpose-built event facilities, teamed with the restaurant’s various dining niches, are designed to accommodate a wide range of weddings.
Riverside Lawn Ceremonies
The stunning lawn area provides a perfect space for an intimate ceremony. With seating capacity for around 20 guests and standing room for up to 100, plus a small signing table for two and a lush, tailor-made cream carpet, the riverside lawn area is the perfect place for your wedding.
The Thomas Hardwick Function Room
This room pays tribute to the original Brew master. With its breathtaking 270-degree views of the city skyline and river, modern fixtures and fittings, it is the ideal venue for weddings. The room can accommodate up to 120 guests for a sit-down affair (includes dance floor), and more than 250 for cocktail-style wedding. It features floor-to ceiling concertina doors open onto an exclusive terrace area right by the river. Feel free to arrive by boat and step onto the jetty for a unique entrance!
The Restaurant
In addition to our dedicated function areas, we have two semi-private dining areas within the restaurant that can also be booked exclusively:
Wine-Rack End - perfect for smaller groups of up to 22 sit-down, and up to 40 cocktail-style.
East-End Area - which is ideal for more relaxed functions of up to 60 sit-down, and 80 cocktail-style.
Table 69 - sits 7 guests around the one round table, behind a sheer curtain. Great for intimate wedding dinners.
